GEORGIA Agricultural Tax Exemption (GATE)
What is GATE?
Under the Georgia Agricultural Tax Exemption (GATE) program, the Georgia Department of Agriculture is issuing cards to individuals eligible to receive agriculture sales tax exemptions under Georgia state law. This applies to all purchases of forestry equipment and parts by qualified individuals.
What do you need?
- A valid email address
- The Taxpayer ID number associated with your farm or business
- Know which tax forms your file for your farm or business
- The GATE Card cost $150 and is good for three years.
