Any one who’s been around loggers knows that family is a top priority. For over 30 years Log A Load for Kids has been supporting families in need through the Children’s Miracle Network which is a group of hospitals focused on providing the best care for children and relies on support of donations and communities to fill in funding gaps not met by Medicaid and insurance programs – reducing the financial stress on families who are focused on their children getting well.
Log A Load for Kids is an annual campaign which began in 1988 when loggers and others in the forest products community donated the value of a load of logs to their local CMN hospital. Today, Log A Load is a leader in CMN Hospitals’ fundraising, raising more than $2 million annually through golf tournaments, fishing events, dinners, truck loads of log donations and other events.
