Each machine is a side elevation at true scale: a photograph or the manufacturer's own spec-sheet figure, background removed, scaled to the published dimensions on one shared ground line.
The length and height numbers under and beside each machine come straight from the catalog, never from measuring the photo. If a machine wears an attachment beyond what the number covers, a caption says so.
Height is measured to the top of the cab, the way manufacturers publish it; a raised boom or grapple in a picture stands above that mark.
Manufacturers don't all measure the same way — some publish length and weight "less felling head," others "with standard attachments" or "as shipped." The caption under each arrow, and the Basis line at the bottom of the stats, always say which one you're looking at.
