Peterson Specifications

Peterson Pacific was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1981 and has been focused on one thing: building the toughest horizontal grinders and chippers in the industry. They're a smaller company than Morbark or Bandit, but their machines have a loyal following in the Pacific Northwest and increasingly across the country.

Peterson grinders are known for their horizontal feed design, which handles stumps, root balls, and mixed waste that would jam a disc chipper. The 5710D and 6710D are their most common models — used in land clearing, biomass processing, and municipal green waste operations.
